September 2026 myBLDR Update (9/15)

A software update is scheduled for September 15, 2026 at 9:00 PM CT.

Quote Tools

New Confirmation Screen When Overwriting Quotes with a Master Set Import

Now, when you import a Master Set spreadsheet into a project (that already has quotes) and select Overwrite Current Quote, a confirmation screen appears where you can make changes. The screen lists every tab in your file next to the quote it will replace, so you can review the import before importing.

The confirmation appears only when all three of the following are true:

  • the project already has at least one quote,

  • you've selected Overwrite Current Quote, and

  • the file is a multi-tab Master Set spreadsheet (either the OnLine or Bid Tools version).

If any of these aren't true, the import runs as usual. When the confirmation screen appears:

  1. Review the table showing how each tab in your file will replace your existing quotes.

  2. Select the Action column for each tab.

    • Tabs matched to an existing quote by name (capitalization doesn't matter) are marked "Overwrite," and the matched quote's line items will be replaced.

    • Tabs with no matching quote are marked "Import as New Quote" and are added to the project.

  3. Select Cancel to return to the Import From File screen with your settings intact, or select Confirm Import to complete the import.

This import never deletes quotes. Anything that doesn't match a tab in your file is left alone.

Note: After you select Confirm Import, the system processes every tab in the file. You can't skip individual tabs from this screen. The import doesn't remove quotes without a matching tab in your file. If you want those quotes gone, delete them yourself after the import finishes.

Projects Module

Copy a Project to a Different Builder Account

Thanks to your feedback, you can now copy a project to a different builder account. A new field on the Copy Project form lets you select a different account to copy the project into. If you don't make a selection, the project is copied to the same account by default.

Warning: If you copy a project from a community, the community doesn't carry over to the destination account. Instead, the copy lands in the Unmapped section of the destination account.

Note: This feature isn't available to builder users.

Projects Module Now Defaults to All Projects

Using your feedback, we've changed how the Projects module opens. If your organization uses communities, you'll now land on All Projects by default (instead of Unmapped Projects). This makes it easier to find and search for projects, since you no longer need to navigate to All Projects first.

Documents Module

New Scale and Measurement Tools in PDF Markup

You'll notice a new ruler icon in the PDF viewer that lets users set a scale and add measurement annotations to specify distances, areas, or other dimensions not already shown on the plan.

To use the new measurement tools:

  1. Select the ruler icon in the PDF viewer.

  2. The following measurement tools appear:

    • Distance

    • Perimeter

    • Rectangle Area

    • Polygon Area

    • Ellipse Area

    • Calibrate

    • Set Scale

  3. Select a measurement tool to see all the options. Hover over an icon to see what it does.

Crews Module

Delete a Sub from Company-Level Crews

Thanks to your feedback, we've made it easier to remove a sub from your account. Previously, if a sub was assigned to multiple projects, you had to remove them from each project individually before you could remove them from your account. Now, you can delete the sub directly from Company-level Crews and then confirm the removal to remove them from all projects at once.

General Updates

New Customer Preview

When you select a customer from the new myBLDR Home page, a new Customer detail drawer appears with a preview of that customer's information, including their recent projects. This gives you a quick look at key details before you dive into the full customer account. To open the full account, select the customer's name in the drawer.

Note: This preview isn't available to builder users.
