How Do Margin Adjustments Work?
When adjusting margins, the selected line items or packs are adjusted proportionally to meet the new total or margin. If all items and packs are selected, all items are adjusted proportionally throughout the quote.
Margins Aren't Adjusting When the Cost Basis Changes
Issue: Margins don't update when the cost basis is changed.
Solution: The pricing refresh model is likely set to manual. When set to manual, go to Quote Settings by selecting the gear icon in the upper-right corner of Quote Manager, then select Refresh to update quote information after changing the cost basis.
How Do I Adjust the Price of Several Items at Once?
To adjust the price of several line items at once:
Select the checkboxes for the line items to adjust.
Select the Actions menu that appears.
Select Adjust Price. The Adjust Price dialog opens.
Enter the price or margin adjustment. The selected line items or packs are adjusted proportionally to meet the new total or margin.
How Do I Switch from a Manual Price Back to the System Price?
To switch from a manually entered price back to the system price:
Double-select the cell.
Backspace to remove the manually entered number.
Select a different area.
How Do I Set Up Pricing Accounts in Quote Settings?
Pricing Accounts are configured by the Digital Tools help desk and allow quotes to be repriced to specific accounts.
To request setup:
Have a Market Manager submit a Digital Tools help desk ticket requesting Pricing Account setup for the market.
After setup, the available accounts appear in Quote Settings as pricing options.
What Pricing Models Are Available in Quote Settings?
Live Pricing. Automatically refreshes to the current customer price schedule every time the quote is viewed.
Manual Pricing (default). Uses pricing from a specific date. To update: enter a pricing date, then select Refresh to update values for that date.
Can Pricing Details Be Hidden on a Published Quote?
Yes. Visibility can be toggled for the following:
Pricing. Show or hide pricing on the published quote.
Quantities. Show or hide quantities.
Pack subtotals. Show a total only, or display individual pack subtotals.
How Do I Change the Tax Rate for a Single Pack?
To change the tax rate for a single pack:
Open the quote and locate the pack.
Select All Pack Overrides (the + in the pack header).
Select Tax Rate.
